On the second day of free agency, the Anaheim Ducks signed free agent RW Andrew Gordon to a two-year contract. In the 2010-2011 NHL season, Gordon scored a goal and an assist for two points in 9 games with the Washington Capitals. More impressively, Gordon scored 28-29=57 points in 50 games with the AHL Hershey Bears. Gordon was appointed to the Eastern Conference AHL All-Star Team for his efforts.
Gordon, 25, was drafted in the 7th round (197th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals.
